Creative Memories is committed to providing you with a secure environment to
store, share and print your digital images. Should you decide to create an
account, you must create a password-protected account that you will have sole
control over. Hence, you can individually manage who will be provided access to
the images stored in your Creative Memories Photo Center account.
Creative Memories also is committed to providing you with a secure environment
for Consultant-customer connection. When using the services provide on the site,
you may be required to provide some personal information to help assist Creative
Memories or a Creative Memories Consultant conduct business with you. Each site
is assigned to a specific Creative Memories Consultant and is managed by that
individual through a password-protected account. As a customer, when you access
a site you are interacting with a Creative Memories Consultant, who is an
independent consultant operating their own Creative Memories business.
The way we use information
Creative Memories only uses your personal information to assist in providing the
services available to you at the site you choose to access. Your personally
identifiable information will not be rented, sold or shared with any third
party, except as provided to third party intermediaries who help us run the site
or provide products or services. Your personal information is only provided to
third parties, such as credit card authorization companies, technical advisors,
vendors processing our outbound email communication, etc., for the purpose of
providing you the site services requested at the time you request them. Third
parties do not store, retain, access or otherwise use your personal information
other than to provide you with the requested site services, and they are held to
confidentiality agreements with Creative Memories.
This Privacy Policy applies to Creative Memories. Some sites you access may be
managed by a Creative Memories Consultant, and they may have access to your
personal information in order to assist in providing requested services.
Creative Memories Consultants are individually responsible for ensuring the
security and privacy of your personal information. Creative Memories Consultants
must only use a customer's personal information for conducting business with
that customer and are not permitted to rent, sell or share this information. It
is a violation of Creative Memories' Policies and Procedures to inappropriately
disclose personal information obtained from customers. Please contact your
Creative Memories Consultant regarding their privacy practices.
Creative Memories may use non-identifying and aggregate information for the
purpose of enhancing the Creative Memories sites services and to share with
business partners. For example, Creative Memories may tell a partner that X
number of individuals visited a certain area on the site ,or that Y number of
men and Z number of women filled out a registration form, but Creative Memories
would not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals.
Please note that if based on good faith belief that the law requires it, or to
protect your or Creative Memories' rights or property, Creative Memories will
disclose your personal information to the extent required.
If, when you register at a site, you agree to let Creative Memories send
promotional information to you, Creative Memories will use your personal
information to send you promotions and other information regarding its products
and services. If you choose to opt out you can easily uncheck the e-mail
notification box located under the account information link on the site.
Additional information for users of Creative Memories sites
All digital images are uploaded over a secure Internet connection to a highly
secure data center. The images are continually backed-up on two separate servers
in different locations.
Creative Memories values the intellectual property rights of others. Creative
Memories claims no ownership interest in your digital images stored in the
Creative Memories sites. We are committed to keeping your images private and
secure. Through your password-protected Creative Memories sites account you have
sole control over directing the access others have to your images. Please note
that by sharing your images, you allow recipients to share and make photographic
prints from the images you provided access to.
If you wish to share your digital images with others, you need to provide email
addresses for distribution. Creative Memories will e-mail the guests you have
specified and invite them to view your images at Creative Memories sites.
Your Creative Memories site account will include an online address book where
you can store mailing addresses and email addresses of family and friends. This
online address book is private and accessible only by you through your password.
Creative Memories will not use any information contained in you private online
address book for any non-service or support related purpose.
Security
Creative Memories is committed to the security of your personal information.
Creative Memories uses industry best practices to protect the privacy of your
personally identifiable information. When providing sensitive information, such
as your password or credit card information, Creative Memories encrypts this
information through SSL, an encryption and security technology.
Information Automatically Collected (electronic)
Creative Memories uses cookies and pixel tags to track users of Creative
Memories sites. Cookies are pieces of information stored on a user's computer by
a Web site so preferences are remembered on future requests. Pixel tags (also
known as Web Bugs, Web Beacons, Clear Gifts, Invisible Gifts, and Tracker Gifts)
are signals sent from certain Web sites or e-mails used to pass certain
information to our servers to personalize our Web sites and to track your usage.
Creative Memories does not save password or credit card number information on
cookies or through use of pixel tags without your permission. Rather, cookies
and pixel tags are used to optimize the performance and functionality of the
site, and to personalize the site for you and present you with content and
offers specific to your interests.
If you are uncomfortable with the idea of your information being stored in
cookies, Creative Memories recommends disabling cookie support in your browser.
However, please note that this may limit the performance functionality at the
Creative Memories sites.
Our commitment to children's privacy
Protecting the privacy of children is especially important. For that reason, we
never collect or maintain information at our Web site from those we actually
know are under 13, and no part of our Web site is structured specifically to
attract anyone under 13.
